How bizarre

The Daily Chimpanzee.

How coincidental!

On the 21st of October I wrote an article slagging off Simon Cowell and Russell Brand – which you can read by clicking  HERE.

And then yesterday the Chimp prints an article that has Simon Cowell slagging off Russell Brand for preaching revolution whilst earning millions.

These little coincidences do keep on happening don’t they.

But it gets better… Then again, doesn’t it always?

You see, according to the Chimp:

Due to ill health Russell Brand has had to postpone Messiah Complex show on Friday in Southend till next year.

Now, for those who don’t know, I live within a Southend post code… Just another coincidence.

But tell me? What the fuck does “ill health” mean?

I mean to say, usually the MSM will be more specific. In fact, ill health doesn’t sound very promising if you ask me.

Still, its just as well that the fraud cancelled.

After all, there is only room for one Messiah in these parts.

Just saying… With me tongue pushed firmly in my cheek of course.

Simon Cowell has branded Russell Brand a ‘hypocrite’ after he accused the comedian of accepting large Hollywood film salaries whilst campaigning against the UK political system.

According to the Mirror, music mogul Simon has told Russell to give up his multi-million pound salary if he is planning to continue his campaigning streak.

The-38-old Essex boy recently joined up with British activist group Anonymous as part of a global protest against austerity cuts and the disadvantages of the current economic system.

According to the Mirror, Simon called Russell a hypocrite who doesn’t do what he says, and has in fact benefited immensely from capitalism.

The X Factor boss told Shortlist magazine: ‘A revolution? He’s getting $10 million a movie.

‘I mean come on! Well give your money back then, Russell. I always say that about people. Start off as you mean to go on.

‘Donate all the money back to the revolution and then I’ll believe it. I’m living in a $10 million mansion and I want a revolution? Give me a break.’

During the interview, Simon said he was proud of his career achievements and doesn’t mind being criticised for creating The X Factor and other talent shows or his influence on pop music.

The 54-year-old added that he can’t understand why the singing contest makes some people angry, coming after musician Jake Bugg recently calling the series ‘s***’.

Simon added: ‘Look everyone’s had a pop at it, and I criticise people on the show so you’ve got to expect it back in return.

But you know what? They all secretly watch it. They’re all “I hate it” and get really angry, but they are all watching it every night.’

Russell Brand, who is currently on his Messiah Complex stand-up tour, joined in the protest outside Buckingham Palace and Parliament Square, at the beginning of November, and used an opinion article in The Guardian to say that people riot ‘when dialogue fails, when they feel unrepresented and bored by the illusion’.

In his piece he added: ‘We are living in a time of huge economic disparity and confronting ecological disaster. This disparity has always been, in cultures since expired, a warning sign of end of days.

‘In Rome, Egypt and Easter Island the incubated ruling elites, who had forgotten that we are one interconnected people, destroyed their societies by not sharing.

‘That is what’s happening now, regardless of what you think of my hair or me using long words, the facts are the facts and the problem is the problem. Don’t be distracted.’

But due to ill health Russell Brand has had to postpone Messiah Complex show on Friday in Southend till next year.

A spokesperson for Russell has been contacted by the Mail Online.
